Why We Are Building Interactive Tabletop

VisionAnnouncement

Tabletop RPGs have always been about imagination — the thrill of exploring a dungeon, the tension of a close combat encounter, the satisfaction of a plan coming together. But for decades, the physical side of the hobby has remained largely static. Miniatures stand still on flat mats, terrain is fragile and hard to reconfigure, and the game master juggles binders of notes while trying to keep the story alive. We believe it is time for the next leap forward.

Interactive Tabletop is our answer: a platform that merges the tactile joy of physical miniatures and terrain with the dynamic possibilities of digital technology. At its core sits the Magnetic Terrain System — modular 40 mm voxel cubes embedded with neodymium magnets that snap together in seconds. Build a cliffside fortress, a multi-level cavern, or a sprawling city district, then tear it down and rebuild for next week's session. No glue, no foam, no fuss.

On top of that terrain, our Animated Miniatures bring characters to life. Tiny internal motors let a dragon spread its wings, a knight raise its sword, or a torch flicker with embedded LEDs. These are not gimmicks — they are sensory cues that deepen immersion and make every encounter memorable.

Tying it all together is the AI Campaign OS, a companion app that tracks initiative, manages loot, generates ambient soundscapes, and even suggests narrative beats based on your party's history. Think of it as a co-pilot for game masters — one that handles bookkeeping so you can focus on storytelling.

We are a small team of lifelong tabletop players, engineers, and designers who got tired of waiting for someone else to build this. Over the coming months we will share deep dives into every subsystem, behind-the-scenes prototyping updates, and our path toward a Kickstarter launch. Welcome aboard — the adventure is just beginning.
